Boarderland Resort is an amazingly relaxing resort about 3 hours drive out of Kathmandu (although only 80km). If I'd know what the place was like before coming, I would have spent more time there instead of just the overnight Canyoning trip.
It has permanently set up thatched tents and all meals, etc are provided. All miles away from the noise of Kathmandu and next to a tumbling river.
As well as being a place to relax, they run adventure trips like rafting, canyoning, etc from the resort.

The two days half days canyoning started with some a little easy abseiling to get use to it. Then building up to the length of the runs, coming down 30m waterfalls on the first day.

At the end of the first day discovered that results of a couple of small leeches having crawled inside my wetsuit and attach themselves to my lower legs... Not some thing have to deal with in New Zealand. Found the the bites take a while to stop bleeding...

The next day started pretty much where the first left off. Building up to the last run of the trip. A 45m decent down a waterfall, swapping ropes 1/2 way down and into a swimming hole.

Was a great way to end my time in Nepal. Think the next time am here, will be staying longer at Boarderland Resort just to relax.
