The morning of the 31st started with a constant rain, quickly turning the dance floor into 6 inches of sticky mud, but that didn’t dampen the atmosphere of the revellers having fun.

Phat09 In Full Swing
Right on cue, the second zone of Phat09 opened at midday with Detail playing. And today the main zone starts up. Shaping up to be a pretty cool New Years party.

Phat09 Pack In Starts
Has been a few years since have done any kind of Tech Crew/Roading for events. So this year, instead a normal relaxing holiday, am dragging around 120kg speakers and 60kg power cables at Phat09, one of the multi-day new Years parties around New Zealand.

Wellington Relay for Life on Saturday
On Saturday (29/03/2008) and Sunday (30/03/2008) the Wellington Relay for Life is on.
Anyone with spare time can come along and support the people doing the run/walk to raise funds for the Cancer Society.
If you'd like to donate, Relay for Life has an oline form to donate directly (pick IBM NZ as the team ;) ). All funds raised are used to improve community well-being by reducing the incidence and impact of Cancer.
